  • As a Professional Geologist in resource exploration for over half a century I share my opine on this matter.

Present hiring.practices where age discrimination and far too much reliance on AI and resume screening has alot to do with it.

Ive seen not only geologists that are well qualified screened out of hiring, but also heavy ewuipmemt operators and other skilled applucants passed over.

It is my belief that DEI hiring as opposed to.merit based hiring is part of the issue at hand.Aftr 50 years  in mineral exploration Im seeing an exodus of qualified professionals both, out of mining altogether and to other nations where merit based hiring is still the norm.

The COVID plandemic as well as the jab demand by mining firms in compliance with social engineering non-science based non-legal mandates to work took a heavy death toll on experienced talent in North America.

As I myself cannot receive any vaccinations whatsoever, I optioned to hotshot in wildland fire during the plandemic due to the zero exemption policies.

Therefore, who in their right mind would choose mining and put up with the hiring practices currently ongoing in mining?

    The industry has to change.

I myself am considering other nations outside of North America to conduct exploration and resource development.

I tread heavily, however, I speak truth to the matter.

    Think on these things.
