I am Chris, from Avian Australia and I wanted to know yours expertise on use of technologies in site assessment & monitoring because I am preapring a detailed comprehensive guide on this.

In this comprehensive guide, I am focusing on below topics.

  • Advantages of Drone Technology for Construction Monitoring,
  • Factors Affecting Construction Monitoring Costs,
  • Benefits of our construction services,
  • Data accuracy,
  • 3D modelling and site visualisations,
  • Real-time data.

Historically, the manual and traditional methods for site assessment demanded extensive time and effort, often spanning days to collect essential data for feasibility and site condition analysis. Today, leveraging GPS technology, drones, satellite data, LiDAR, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), this process has been accelerated to mere hours, yielding invaluable site information. So, feel free to add your expertise on this topic So, that I can create a deatiled guide on this.

  • Have worked as site manager and project manager for verious companies.  One thing is too many engineers sit at the desk all day on the computer.  Me - spent 4 to 6 hours looking at the construction and finding many small items that would cause problems in the future.  Only work 1/2 day on projects -- 6AM tp 6 PM have a day
