Hello All,
This is my first post here, and I am happy to be with you.
I would like to know your point of view, beliefs and ideas about implementing machine learning in mining industry. Below survey is to demonstrate the value and willingness of deployment of machine learning models in industry nowadays, and if manufacturing plants are willing to have such ML models in order to improve overall utilization of their production lines and their Internal Supply Chain Management "ISCM".
Please support with your believes, facts, ideas or desirability in having such solution. Support and help with your view, will maching learning and AI implmentations affect positively and massively the mining industry with its critical activities and importance or it won't affect and create huge impact?
Here is the survey:

The biggest issue is getting enough data to properly train a NN to get any meaningful results. Companies are using more tele-remote operations for safety at the face in underground mining. This add more available data to be able to "Digital Twin" the boring machine. Comms infastructure needs to be robust in order to get the data to the NN.
Hi Ahmed, this is a very interesting topic. Are you focusing exclusively on the mining industry? What applications are of biggest interest? PS. I lead an ML company and we have an interest in mining. www.jagan.solutions.
Please support for research sake.
