Hey everyone — thanks for the warm welcome into this forum. I’m part of the team organizing the Rocky Mountain Mining Summit, coming up this September in Rock Springs, Wyoming, and we’re excited to connect with folks who live and breathe this industry.
As we’ve been planning the event, one question keeps coming up in conversations with operators, suppliers, and regulators:
Where is mining in the Rockies really heading over the next 5 to 10 years?
Between new technologies, ESG pressures, workforce shifts, and permitting challenges, the region seems to be at an inflection point.
