Humidity in ore and concentrates impacts on costs in two major ways!
First, water is dead-weight in logistics, from the mine up to the processing plant!
Second, water steals energy during processing by evaporation.
The challenges to develop a drying solution are mostly due to operation sizes and operational procedures.
A small operation of 10.000 ton per day with a humidity of 13% means the removal of 1.300 ton of water on daily basis!
For this example, the amount of energy is immense and kilns costs prohibitive!
For larger operations, it just gets worse!
Vale is our partner. Vale exports ⅔ of its iron ore to China using very large vessels, over 300.000 ton capacity. In each trip, each vessel carries over 27.000 ton of water at a cost of US$20-40 per ton.
We patented a drying solution that should work on small, medium and large mining operations. Vale is our key partner in the PoC development that shall start this month. We will evaluate two solutions. Drying ore on courtyards operations and injecting CSE in ore being transported in conveyor belts.
Our goal is to reduce humidity in iron ore to allow blending and export within international rules and regulations. Reduce humidity will also help Vale`s customers to reduce its pollution and energy demands in processing the iron ore.
I am looking for a CTO with expertises in solar thermal energy and renewables.

Hi,
its excisting, i wish to understand the whole battery limit you work in, though, I cannot be as technical as CTO here, but can plan some marketing and sales activites in India. we can discuss it further on meinprabhaat@gmail.com. I have ample knowledge in industries in India and has some network also to reach the potential customers.your product is awesome and in the intrest of the world for saving enegy and money, at all points in transportation and process.
