This is our Mine Site visit report on the trip to Brazil Potash's Autazes project.
Starting off from Manaus, the capital of Amazonia, we headed off to the Autazes project. En route, we went to meet the local population, then the offices, then the port site and the mine/processing site. We returned to Manaus for a political powwow with state authorities, then the next morning we visited the massive shipyards that will be building the floating port and the barge fleet for eventually moving the product out to awaiting offtakers in the country's agricultural heartland.
It was clear that the project is advanced on the financing and development phase.
Finally, we look at the evolving price dynamic of potash since the Mid-East War began and look at the mineral's criticality to Brazil's economy.
