The Artisanal & Small Scale Mining sector is growing rapidly across the world and particularly in developing countries in Africa, South America and parts of Asia. Issues associated with ASM include lack of skills in the sector, lack of mining and processing technologies, lack of environmental health and safety awareness, use of dangerous chemicals such as mercury in gold ASM, lack of mineral trade channels etc

I have seen it important for me to an ASM group on this platform so we can engage, share ideas on how to improve the ASM sector.
